25 Ready-to-Load Claude Code Plugins in One Repo

A curated shelf of 25 bundled plugins for Claude Code — load one with a single --plugin-dir flag, from commit hygiene to wiring Claude into 1,000+ apps.

Most Claude Code plugins live scattered across individual repos, each with its own install ritual. composio-community/awesome-claude-plugins — a 2k-star curated list from Composio — puts 25 working plugins in one repository and documents a single load mechanism for all of them. Sixteen more entries point at plugins hosted elsewhere.

Why This Skill Matters

The README defines Claude plugins as extensions that add custom slash commands, specialized agents, hooks, and skills to Claude Code, shareable across projects and teams. That is exactly the surface where ad-hoc setups get messy: one project has a commit helper, another has a review agent, nothing transfers.

This repo groups its 41 listed entries into 10 categories — integrations, frontend and design, git and version control, code quality and testing, backend and architecture, DevOps and performance, documentation and security, developer productivity, companion and personality, and image/video generation. The 25 bundled ones follow one documented directory layout, so you can read a plugin's shape before loading it.

Installation

The README's clone command still points at the old composiohq org; GitHub redirects it to composio-community, which is where the repo lives now (verified 2026-10-30). Use the current name:

git clone https://github.com/composio-community/awesome-claude-plugins.git
cd awesome-claude-plugins
claude --plugin-dir ./commit

Load several at once by repeating the flag:

claude --plugin-dir ./commit --plugin-dir ./code-review --plugin-dir ./connect-apps

Every bundled plugin follows the same structure, per the README:

├── .claude-plugin/

Real Workflow: Wire Claude to Your Actual Tools

The flagship entry is connect-apps, the plugin the README leads with: it lets Claude send emails, create issues, and post to Slack across Gmail, GitHub, Notion, and a broader catalog of 1,000+ services, backed by Composio's MCP Gateway.

  1. Clone the repo and start Claude with the plugin loaded:
git clone https://github.com/composio-community/awesome-claude-plugins.git
cd awesome-claude-plugins
claude --plugin-dir ./connect-apps
  1. Run the setup command and paste your API key when asked (the README links a free key from dashboard.composio.dev):
/connect-apps:setup
  1. Verify with the README's own test — ask Claude to send you a test email. If it arrives, the connection works.

Real Workflow: A Review-Ready Commit Flow

For pure coding workflow, bundle three of the bundled plugins in one session:

claude --plugin-dir ./commit --plugin-dir ./code-review --plugin-dir ./create-pr
  • commit creates conventional-format git commits with meaningful messages.
  • code-review runs a review pass covering best practices, patterns, and improvement suggestions.
  • create-pr automates pull request creation with templates, descriptions, and labels.

One session now covers the whole change-to-PR path, and each piece still works on its own in other projects.

Tips

  • The skill-bus plugin wires context, conditions, and other skills into any skill invocation declaratively, without modification — the README calls it "the skill for connecting skills."
  • theme-factory applies professional font and color themes to artifacts — slides, docs, reports, HTML landing pages — with 10 pre-set themes.
  • test-writer-fixer writes and fixes unit tests and names Jest, Vitest, and Pytest among its targets.
  • changelog-generator turns git history into user-facing release notes automatically.
  • Not everything in the list is a coding tool: the external entries include a Kaggle integration, an AWS cost optimizer with 173 checks, and a Claude Code companion with moods and a fortune command.

When Not to Use This

connect-apps routes actions through Composio's hosted gateway and needs an account with an API key — if your data policy rules out a third-party relay for email and issue trackers, skip that one plugin and use the rest, which run from local directories. Licenses are per-plugin: the README ships MIT for the collection but directs you to each plugin for its specific license. And 16 of the 41 entries are links to external repos, not bundled code, so expect to leave the repository for those.
